Controlling access to sensitive areas is an important part of reducing the risks associated with unrestricted facility access, and thanks to the flexibility and user-friendliness of electronic access-control systems, it's easier than ever.

Part or all of a facility may be restricted based on user groups, time of day or week, or other parameters – all of which can be adapted and expanded as needs change. These systems can also be integrated with video surveillance and alarm systems, creating extremely effective security and safety assurance.

Every system is different, and some of the components we use to produce individualized systems include:
  • Door and interior call stations – These push-button devices allow personnel within a facility to “buzz in” visitors and may include one-way video in addition to audio communication.
  • Electronic lock devices – These products allow areas to stay locked until released when a proximity card is presented, a call station permits access, or other specific event unlocks them.
  • Proximity media – These cards or fobs are used with electronic card readers to permit access to specified facility areas without having to be “buzzed in.”
  • Electronic card readers – In tandem with proximity media, these devices allow authorized parties to access facility areas.

We work with customers to thoroughly assess their circumstances and needs and can develop wired or wireless access-control systems in custom configurations. We represent several leading manufacturers, including:
